This was my costume last October 31, 2006 Halloween musical extravaganza... Everybody was so stunned in my costume. They didn't expect that i would do such a thing like this... Hokage!!! people stared at me like i was for real. hehehe. so with hiyas both of us were totally awesome and so confident with our costume but hours had passed the costume started to worn out! hehe... even our minds was torn out by alcoholic temptations.

We must stop the carrier ninja to prevent war!

Halloween GIG" Disco MUMUU"

OCT 31, 2006 at the Sk8park Iligan City. Even though the gig started at 9:00 pm we still managed to do the best we can. The place was so really scary but the people were drunk before the gig started. Shit even happens on Halloween, coz' we've pulled out all of the extension wires in the park. Some of it was too small to carry out the amps voltage. We did find some ways and means to solve it but everybody is so anxious to start the gig. It was a all around gig, there were Emos, Hardcores, Metals, Ska, Oi, oldschools and punkrock. Lemongrasscombo and Daddy's bad-ass joint was placed as the last performer of the gig. After Daddy's performance rain took it away. It was really a blessing that we really made it through night. hehehe

Protestant Records

Thank you PROTESTANT RECORDS in such a huge achievement in providing a good market to our fellow musicians in iligan city. Hope the entire DEFIANCE NETWORK's elected officers would do their responsibilities as an official. We would like to make a stand that all iligananon would support by selling in some incoming EP's of Protestant Record releases. This may boost the pride of Iligan Music Scene. 1st Mindanao Ska Fest Davao! It was really a blessing that we've reached Davao City with some serious failures during the trip. both iligan and cagayan traveled in the same vehicle even though dumbness is always at our back. we still manage to make it through the trip. Thanks a lot to the Davao Ska Scene organizers that did their best to provide enough of our needs, especially to the moonstomp pipol, shiela, arn, leah and all of thier friends. Thank you very much for not letting us go into stray! You have our full support!

Short Story of cielo

The laughter of cielo when she's happy she can bring people to the other side of life. Her laughter echoed through the years when we're still sucking our mama's breast. She kept on laughing for about a month when she thought that she can love, she found odell the boy who's been listening her laughter for quiet period of time. When their eyes snap at some same dimension they began to create the world into such happiness. They laugh together for about 4 years when the fierce Duke of sorrow dried up laughter and sprinkled sorrow through out the land of iligan. Both of them lived for a month but Odell can't take the dark hate that the Duke of sorrow spread, so they sought an alternative for their absence of laughter. By them selves they created a liquefied form of illusive mixture to alter the subsequent tears of cielo. Suddenly when both of them drunk enough content of the mixture they began to feel happiness, so they drank and drank till they fall into the leaves of an old mango tree. Morning came; odell woke up and shouted I have a name for my joyful mixture, It's gonna be called "TANDUAY RUM", cielo yawning and said "cool name, salamat gi shot najud ang tagay!"

That gig was so cool; the acceptance in different genres was so emphasized. Everybody mashed and danced with joy in the tones of ska!, Jammed in the rhythms of reggae, mashed in the crunch of hardcore, waving hands to arc of punk rock, whirling around for the anarchy of oldschoolpunks, screamed through the agonies of screamo even cried by the music of lots of emo bands. Huh! "We carry our lives to one single purpose to enjoy everything and got nothing to loose". --lemongrasscombo.

Green Leafy Veggies

The Green Leafy Veggies the solid reggae artist in Iligan City. They mature in various reggae music and they decided to compose some songs out of it. Their drummer and bass player were also members of our group lemongrasscombo but they started way back years in their high school days with 8 compositions jammin through the mountains of Suarez... hey to all reggae pipol in Suarez continue building an army of reggae driven crowd (dagkoti free) hehe... This band is so cool that you can dance with out warning... Thank you guys for the reggae moments in our lives....

Story of Ozamis

LEMONGRASSCOMBO On Ozamis inside the cota during the pasundayag presentation 2006. It was really an honor that we performed not only for the music but representing Iligan as a whole. This was our first gig and we didn't really expect that the audience wore barong ang ate cocktail foods. huh, Basically, all of us including other bands such as Daddy's Bad-Ass Joint, Killmickeymouse and the Green Leafy Veggies are stunned with the surroundings so casual. Hmm... So good that some governors loved our music and the rest of the band. We're kinda bitin, so rage went out and talk to the organizer out side cota of which is SMB then thumbs up, okey we can perform on SMB! Of course the audience didn't wore barong but instead with sleeveless shirts and slippers. So funny but the performance was good but the good part of it is when the beers began to flow. huh not bad for the first gig. jockpot lng jud...

Daddy's Bad-Ass Joint (skahoods)

DADDY'S BAD-ASS JOINT the brown beat all stars influenced band in the city of the south Iligan City. If Manila has "scarlet" and her torment ska band we have the stunning "hiyas" as lead vocals of the group. They started composing complicated ska patterns way back 2003 when sk8park iligan was still alive, until now they still make people jog in no time, with their non-stop keyboards by Gilbert, still tempos of the dan the drummer, running bass of junipher(lemongrasscombo), charged up blowings of Gary, Jerry, Jeremy and skankin' guitars of Odell. Here is a glimpse of the band in Ozamis City during the presentation of Iligan day in the Pasundayag 2006 last July 13. Soon they will be releasing their 1st EP then followed by the album later on. One of the songs is included in the compilation "ACT OF DEFIANCE" which will be released on the mid of september. watch out for them...

The main launching will be mid of september... for now we are seeking some sponsors coz' we'll try to make the hell out it...

Ay limot ko we are the lemongrasscombo from iligan city ska stompin combo band that will blow ur panties right through you cap. hehe dili bitaw... joke... pru ska mi.. hehe

We are composed of merely different genre such as reggae and more on melodic lines... but by the help of others (inspiration - dear) hehe. we arranged for about 5 songs already and recorded the 1st song intitled " I Won't Go" for the compilation release of protestant records. so we decided to push it to an EP. others did agree so recording napud....

To all ska lovers out there if you have some EP or album we can help you sell it out here in iligan. in such a way we can help local bands for their music to be heard.
